LORD SRI DATTATREYA IS THE FIRST GURU OF THIS UNIVERSE AND HE HAS TAKEN BIRTHS IN DIFFERENT NAMES AT DIFFERENT PLACES AT DIFFERENT TIMES. THE CHAIN OF THESE BIRTHS IS CALLED DATTA PARAMPARA. LORD DATTA IS COMBINED FORM OF BRAHMA,VISHNU AND SHIVA. LORD DATTA IS AN EVERLIVING INCARNATION AND MOVES IN THIS UNIVERSE ALWAYS. AT THE SAME TIME, TO GRACE THE HUMANITY BY LIVING WITH THEM, HE HAS TAKEN DIFFERENT BIRTHS AND SRI SAI IS ONE OF THE INCARNATION OF LORD DATTA. TILL NOW LORD DATTA HAS TAKEN FIVE BIRTHS. PLEASE GO THROUGH THE FOLLOWING.
1 . SRI PADA SRI VALLABHA.
SRI PADA SRI VALLABHA IS THE FIRST INCARNATION OF LORD DATTA. SRI PADA SRI VALLABHA HAD TAKEN BIRTH IN PITAPURAM IN EAST GODAVARI DISTRICT , ANDHRA PRADESH. HE LIVED THERE FOR SIXTEEN YEARS AND THEN HE WENT TO KURUVAPURAM , A SMALL VILLAGE FULLY SURROUNDED BY KRISHNA RIVER BETWEEN RAICHUR(KARNATAKA) AND MAHABUBNAGAR(ANDHRA PRADESH). THERE HE MADE SEVERE SPIRITUAL PRACTICES FOR SOMETIME AND DISAPPEARS. PITAPURAM & KURUVAPURAM ARE VERY PRECIOUS PLACES WHERE WE CAN GET HIS BLESSINGS. PITAPURAM IS IN RAILWAY ROUTE OF HYDERABAD - VISAKHAPATNAM . KURUVAPURAM CAN BE REACHED FROM HYDERABAD OR RAICHUR . WE HAVE TO CROSS THE RIVER BY SMALL BOATS TO REACH THIS VILLAGE.
2 . SHRI NRISIMHA SARASWATI SWAMY
NRISIMHA SARASWATI IS THE SECOND INCARNATION OF LORD DATTA AND WAS BORN IN KARANJANGAR IN THE VARAD DISTRICT OF MAHARASHTRA.AT A VERY SMALL AGE HE LEAVES THE VILLAGE AND MOVES SO MANY PLACES . GANUGAPUR WHICH IS NEAR GULBARGA IS ONE OF THE IMPORTANT PLACE WHERE HE LIVED MORE TIME. AFTER SPENDING SOME TIME AT GANUGAPUR HE LEAVES TO SRISAILAM AND DISAPPEARS. AT THE TIME OF LEAVING THIS GANUGAPUR, HE LEAVES HIS PADUKAS AT THAT PLACE AND THOSE PADUKAS ONLY BEING WORSHIPPED NOW. GANUGAPUR IS A VERY VERY VIBRATING PLACE WHICH IS TO BE VISITED AT LEAST ONCE IN THE LIFE TIME.
SRI GURU CHARITRA IS THE BOOK WHICH SPEAKS ABOUT THE ABOVE TWO INCARNATIONS. ORIGINALLY IT WAS WRITTEN IN MARATHI LANGUAGE AND LATER ON TRANSLATED IN TO SANSKRIT AND OTHER LANGUAGES. BY READING THIS HOLY BOOK WITH CONCENTRATION, WE CAN GET BLESSINGS OF LORD DATTA DEFINITELY.
3 . SRI MANIK PRABHU (1817 -1865 A.D.)
SRI MANIK PRABHU IS THE THIRD INCARNATION OF LORD DATTA. HE WAS BORN IN KALYANI NAGAR WHICH IS ON THE WAY TO GULBARGA FROM HYDERABAD. AFTER MOVING IN DIFFERENT PLACES, HE FINALLY SETTLED AT MANIKNAGAR WHICH IS ALSO IN THE HYDERABAD-GULBARGA ROUTE. MANIK PRABHU HAD TOOK SAMADHI AT MANIKNAGAR IN 1865 AT THE AGE OF 48. NOW WE CAN SEE A VERY BIG SAMADHI MANDIR OF MANIK PRABHU AT MANIK NAGAR . IT IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL MANDIR WITH GREAT ENERGY.
MANIKNAGAR HAS BECOME THE PLACE OF PILGRIMAGE WHERE PEOPLE THRONG FROM ALL PARTS OF THE COUNTRY FOR THE FULFILMENT OF THEIR DESIRES.
4 . SWAMI OF AKKALKOT ( SWAMI SAMARTHA OF AKKALKOT)
SWAMI SMARTHA OF AKKALKOT IS THE FOURTH INCARNATION OF LORD DATTA. THE LIFE OF SWAMI SAMARTHA WAS FULL OF MIRACLES AND THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE GATHERED AROUND HIM FOR FULFILMNT OF THEIR DESIRES. His life inspired and led many disciples on the path of
liberation. Nrisimha Bharati of Alandi, Baba Sabnis are some of them.
The highly spiritual life of Samartha was conspicuous in his daily
routine.
Numerous people were miraculously cured by the grace of Swami. Many a devotee connected with places
sacred to Dattatreya such as Ganagapur, Narsoba Wadi got mysterious
calls from their deity to go to the Swami at Akkalkot for his blessings.
By his grace he brought about a fundamental change in the lives of many
(Hridaya Parivartan) by influencing their minds and hearts to get over
their weaknesses and blemishes. In short Swami emphasised the
essentiality of purity of mind. He had love and compassion for all
cretures without any distinction. Such a personality remarkable both
from physical and spiritual aspects, passed away in April 30, 1878 A.D.
5 . SAMARTHA SADGURU SAINATH OF SHIRDI
SRI SAI IS THE FIFTH INCARNATION OF LORD DATTATRYA AND HE LIVED MOST OF THE TIME IN SHIRDI TILL HE LEAVES THE WORLD IN OCTOBER 1918.In the unbroken
line of sages and saints of Bharat Varsha, who held aloft the torch of
spirituality in all climes and ages, the sage of Shirdi, occupies a very
significant position. He is a very mysterious personality whom
everybody interprets in his own way but no interpretation could give a
complete picture of the saint. This is perhaps the reason why he is
Rama, Krishna, Hanuman, Sankara, Ganpathi, Dattatreya all rolled in one
according to the Samskar and desire of different devotees. His birth
is shrouded in great mystery for no one knew his parentage nor the place
of his birth. Possibly, the view held by some that he is a "Ayoni
Sambhav" (not born from human womb) be the case, like Lord Dattatreya.
Rightly SaiBaba, a Sampurna Avatar of Lord Dattatreya, has his centre
every where without a limiting circumference anywhere. When he was asked
about his parent-hood, he said "The world is my village, Brahma the
father and Maya the Mother". Significantly, Sai was easily accessible equally to the pauper
and the prince, the illiterate and the learned, the young and the old,
the atheist and the theist. .
Sai laid stress on constant faith (Nista) and patience (Saburi) as he
demanded always these "two coins" from his devotees. Performance of
one's own duty and worship of one's own family deity with pure heart had
his appreciation.
Sai is like an oasis in a desert, which provides cool
shelter and a refreshing drink to the suffering people in the worldly life. Truely, there can be no better healing balm than
Sai's grace for bleeding hearts badly wounded in the battles
of life. Sai has emphasised the fundamental oneness of all
religions. Sai never prescribed a particular mode or method of worship
nor initiated with mantra to any one, nor asked to perform any
religious rituals. He is rightly
considered to have incarnated in Kali Age as an Avatar of redemption.
Even the refuse and the reprobate looked down by the society readily
received his Anugraha equally with the righteous and the high. There was
no exclusive-ness in His concern for the suffering. Sri SAI says- "If any child
gets covered with mud and dust, is it not my duty like a mother to
cleanse him and take him on my lap". He considered
every one without distinction as his child . Sai has entered into Mahasamadhi in october 1918 on vijayadasami day. SRI SAI IS A BEACON LIGHT FOR ALL OF US AND EVEN NOW SRI SAI IS GUIDING US WITH CARE, LOVE AND AFFECTION AND DEFINITELY GUIDES US FOREVER.
SAI IS MOTHER. SAI IS FATHER.SAI IS RELATIVE. SAI IS FRIEND.SAI IS ALL FOR US.SAI IS EVERYTHING FOR US.
